This depends on the product, but we believe in only using the highest quality paper stock for purpose and for value. Our premium business cards are 400gsm, Letterhead / Compliment Slip / Printing - 80 or 120gsm, A4/A5/A6 Notepads - 80gsm, Flyer Print - 150gsm or 300 gsm, A3 Posters -170 gsm.
GSM is short for 'Grams per Square Meter'. The higher the GSM number, the heavier (and thicker) the paper. At BrunelOne.com, we supply the most suitable GSM paper for each product purpose.
The type of paper used for difference purposes is expressed in weight. In the countries following the European system, it is grammes per square metre (gsm or g/m2 or simply g) and in the US system it is Pound (lb).
The paper used for writing/printing (letterheads and such stationery) is generally between 60 to 120 gsm (20 to 70 lb) and is called the paper or text stock. Anything heavier than this is considered the card stock, i.e. the paper used for business cards, postcards, greeting cards, etc.
Coated papers are available in two finishes – glossy (shiny and smooth) and Matt (flat and lusterless). Coated glossy papers reflect the light evenly so they are suitable for almost all types of printing jobs. Glossy papers have a good ink holdout, which is important for creating sharp, bright images.
Unfortunately .PSD (Photoshop) files can't be previewed on most internet browsers. However as long as you follow our Artwork Guidelines, the uploaded file should be printed fine.
If you are having problems uploading and previewing your artwork files, it may be because the uploaded artwork file isn't one of our accepted file formats.
File formats currently accepted: jpg, jpeg, gif, png, eps, ai, pdf, zip, tar, rar, cdr, psd images only.
Please also ensure you upload file/s for front and back sides. For files containing both sides, upload one file to 'Front side'.
File size should also not be larger than 50MB in size.

If you have uploaded your artwork and then decide to purchase at a later date, firstly you will need to ensure you have given your uploaded artwork a 'Design Name' and have clicked 'Save and Continue'. Then, when you next login in to your account, you will find your uploaded artwork in the 'My Account' then in 'My Designs' area. To order your uploaded artwork, then click 'Order'.
Providing that your uploaded artwork conforms to our artwork guidelines, rest assured your artwork will print correctly on to your chosen product. All dimensions (including Bleed and Safe Margin) are specified on each of our product upload areas. Click here to read our artwork guidelines >
Our system supports RGB (red, green, blue) for producing digital prints. We have accurately mapped color pallet to match RGB to CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, key) to ensure proper 4-color printing.
300 dpi (dots per inch) is the resolution of the output PDF file.
We use a combination Digital, Litho and Large Format Inkjet technologies depending on the product. We will choose the best quality solution to print your product.
Our standard listed prices are excluding VAT. VAT will be added to your final checkout for you to review before you purchase. Some products do not have VAT, some do. In the product information it will tell you if no VAT applies. Note: VAT may have to be charged for Non VAT items depending on the final use and final artwork. We will notify you if this is the case. There will be extra charges for the VAT if it is required.
Our flyers / leaflets are free from VAT by default, however legally there are some exceptions:
- If your flyer or leaflet is used to obtain a discount on goods or services - i.e. "25% off with this flyer", then VAT is chargable.
- If your flyer or leaflet has an area designed to be written on, then VAT is chargable.
If we find that your Leaflet / Flyer conforms to these exceptions, we will notify you for the payment of VAT due.
Yes - the prices listed on the website indicates basic prices of products against many parameters: paper/card weights or thickness (GSM/Pt), glossy or matt finish, 2 or 4 colors, square or rounded corners, single or double side printing, quantity, destination shipping charges and the mode of transport. The prices are calculated with regard to the most basic paper/card types, sizes and number of sides printing. Please use the 'Price Calculator' for help calculating the basic cost of your order.
We currently accept Visa (Visa Credit, Visa Debit, Visa Electron) & Mastercard. All payments are securely processed by Worldpay. You do not need a Worldpay account to process your order.
We use DPD as our prefered courier for deliveries, most addresses are Next Day.
You also have the option of Click and Collect where you can pick up from our Bristol Factory. This will save you the extra day required for Delivery.

If you are in the Bristol area, you can take advantage of our 'Click & Collect' service. We are based in Bedminster.
Turnaround is the time it take to manufacture your order in our Bristol factory.
Shipping is the service and time it takes to delivery your order and is after the turnaround time. Depending on where the delivery is, the system will work out how long a standard courier service takes and add this to the delivery date.
The Delivery date is when you can expect the order to be delivered to you.
You also have the option to 'collect ' from our Bristol Factory which will save you the delivery time. You can pick up after 4.30pm.
